bodhiTree was a group of the slightly musically inclined students at XLRI Jamshedpur, India. They had become quite popular back in their college days with their unconventional music and catchy lyrics which were fresh, interesting and contained a number of swear words, making it an instant hit. The band was mostly guitar and drum based and the songs were in Hindi or Punjabi. The popular songs were XL Ki Kudiyan, Sabka Katega and Gaand Main Danda which were recorded at Dhwani Studios, Jamshedpur in 2005. Bodhi Tree is a legacy that started in XLRI in the late 90s and has grown in stature over the years and has become more than just the official XLRI band. Bodhi is an integral part of the "XL Culture" for which the B-School is known for.
