Biting Eye or “bitingeye” is the electronic side project from artist / musician Ben Bridges. Known predominantly for his role in the experimental instrumental band “Angler”, Ben has also been involved in other bands and collaborates frequently with musicians from a wide variety of genres from all over the world. In interviews Ben has repeatedly credited his musical roots to his father “Buck Carson” who is a notable Australian Country and Western artist, as well as his late brother “Marcus Bridges” who was the founding member of the band “Angler”. Ben started performing as Biting Eye in 2000. His music is a mixture of acid techno and IDM inspired electronic soundscapes. He uses analogue synthesizers, drum machines, homemade electronics and large amounts of effects to produce his live shows.
