Hazel “beeswithchainsaws” Swan is an American songwriter and producer, making music since 2020. She is commonly represented by a bee character named Apple. Hazel is well known for her MIDI compositions. Her music could be described as videogame-esque, but she is not quite keen on this comparison. She is influenced by artists such as They Might be Giants, Logan Whitehurst, Red Vox, Primus, Jamiroquai, Toby fox, femtanyl, and Twenty one pilots. Hazel has always had an adoration for music, but the soundtracks to games like UNDERTALE and DELTARUNE pushed her to begin producing her own music. She was also influenced by a close friend to keep producing music, which further motivated her to continue writing, composing, and producing songs.
