Rising from the ashes of Blue Sunshine Minds (RIP early 2007), auschpáas has allowed a new song-writing platform for Justin Sweeny and a bevvy of familiar faces (Andy Keresztes & Giles Simon) and new collaborators (Callum Thomson & Eirene Tsolidis Noyce). Formed in Melbourne, Australia in mid 2007 the band's emphasis was placed on soley experimentation and uncomprising originality that saw Blue Sunshine Minds fold. Influences are varied with Sigur Rós, Eastern inspired George Harrison and the ambience of Brian Eno being easy comparisons.
