Art Chapman has been involved in music since 9 years of age and has performed pop and country-western music internationally. He has appeared on Texas Connection and Austin City Limits, and worked at the main Holiday Inn in Branson, Mo. as house band under Tom Mundell and appeared with many well-known artists. He also worked for Freddy Fender as house band at a club co-owned by Freddy in El Paso, Texas. Art has recorded for Jake Hottell, Roy Orbison's engineer at one time and recorded songs written by Jake and his wife, Sharon. Since the early 60s he has recorded, performed with bands and as a single act. Presently he is performing in the Four Corners area of New Mexico near Durango, Co. For a time he performed at various casinos in Las Vegas and appeared at the Aladin and Imperial Palace. He also served as celebrity judge for a major talent contest in Las Vegas.
