Artist
Either at shows, to battles, to blogs, to even your own CD collection. There is a good chance you have heard of AMiAM. A young, Puerto Rican MC from Orlando (Ozone) by a way of NY, has been turning more heads than barbers in recent years. His witty lyricism and raw production style has earned him a respected spot in the underground. "I was born up top but, raised in Ozone. People think I came straight from New York because of my music but, a lot of New Yorkers live out here, especially on the east side. It's a compliment though." From recording his first freestyle at the age of 6 with his older brother MyGrane McNastee, to being a hardcore B-Boy in school, to nationwide tours, AMiAM is showing us that the so called "golden-era" is still among us. Gracing the stage along with pioneers like Afrika Bambaataa, Grand Master Caz, KRS-One, DJ Premier and Rakim to the Wu-Tang Clan, Nas and Boot Camp Clik. AMiAM seems so comfortable performing it's as if he was literally birthed on stage. His vibe and energy to command the crowd and the life of the party makes you remember why you actually loved the culture at point in your life. He has quickly become one of those "must-see" acts. Although AM hasn't released an official debut album, he still has put together a large number of acclaimed projects. Including The Beat Ministry Vol.1, AmSouth Mixtape, New World Chaos' Ozone 50 MC's, Vets of Kin's "Pestilence" and many more with his fellow veteran kinfolk. Currently focusing on his debut
