Arkansas melodic metal act AFFECTUS are featured in a new book series on heavy metal and hard rock. The band’s debut record, ‘Anathema’, is reviewed by Maximum Metal senior editor Eric Compton and includes commentary from the band’s singer and songwriter John Warren. An extremely candid four page interview with Warren is also included with details regarding the album’s concept and design and the heartfelt experiences that went into the writing. “It remains to be the deepest and most personal story of our lives put into print.
