■a-fei: solo unit of guitarist Atsushi Kobayashi of former walrus from Tokyo. at 1998: the professional debuts as member of the band "walrus". his play style of the guitar, a noisy guitar of a so-called roaring sound system was important essence of the band. walrus releases 3 full albums and 2 mini albums and 5 maxisingles and 1 remix album (EYE (Boredoms) and DUB SQUAD and JOUJOUKA, etc. participate). at 2005: activity stop of walrus. he began to make his own music while being involved in the recording of various artists. at 2007: walrus dissolved.he started up activity of own production work in full scale by the completion of the solo album "Nymphéas". "a-fei" is full of his original ideas, influenced from his favorite music like Electronica and of course Alternative rock music, and different from the band sound.
