Formed in April of 2010 by Rowdy Massey (Guitar), Zach Simpson (Drums), and Christopher Todd (Heavy Vocals), A Prophesy Unborn was forced to quickly come together and write songs after being invited to play their first show only two days after forming. Shortly after writing Pushing Gabby 90, and Misplaced by Fate, the band's first local show was played on their seventh day together, and went surprisingly well. With more than five shows scheduled to play within their first month as a band, A Prophesy Unborn entered the studio midway through May to begin recording their E.P. (Odds and Ends). The studio appearance was only made possible after many final lineup decisions across the last thirty days between the members. The three original members remain intact, with the addition of rhythm guitarist Jackson Bell, clean vocalist Myriah Hull, and the deep ambient screams of Dalton Butler. Shortly after their entrance into the band, Myriah and Jackson left A Prophesy Unborn due to personal, and decisive reasons from the band. After the two members leave, Zach (drums) took on the role of lead clean vocals, and rhythm guitarist Jacob McCullough was added to the lineup, the band was finally ready to announce a full lineup and an upcoming E.P. to go alongside their quick entrance into the music world.
