Zoumana Téréta is considered today as one of Mali's master violinists. Zoumana travelled whith his instrument, a "So kou" (a Malian violin), until the day when he decided to make a living out of music. With his So-Kou under his arm, he took part in all the musical gatherings of Mali and played with Saly Sidibé, one the country's best known singers. They have recorded four albums together.
