There are currently two artists with the name Zoetic: 1. An ambient vocal project which draws inspiration from the Nada Yoga and Shamanic Sound lineage, based out of British Columbia, Canada. Zoetic is the previous project from vocalist and composer Dréa Drury, who now produces under the name ANILAH. Zoetic is the current project of vocal artist Dréa Drury, based out of the pristine wilderness of British Columbia, Canada since 2003. Her style fluctuates between ethereal vocal landscapes, ambient sonic explorations, and progressive rock. The enveloping nature of her voice has evolved from a self nurtured exploration - born from an intimate connection to the landscape that raised her, to an incredible tool of divine expression. Drawn by the precision and beauty of North Indian Classical music, at the age of 22, Dréa began studying with Ali Akbar Khan at the College of Classical Indian music in San Rafael. From then on, her passion for sacred and shamanic sound healing led her to study with some of the continent's most renowned teachers such as Silvia Nakkach (Yoga of the Voice) and Tom Kenyon.
