According to a fictitious etymology, the term Zn'shñ signifie the gleam of dark colours. Deliberately antithetic and intentionally enigmatic, Zn'shñ is influenced by Butoh iconography, Japanese Gagaku aesthetic and Tibetan rituals codification. Operating as a dual electronic unit (Elvire Bastendorff & Franck Smith), Zn'shñ distils some very specific works around digital phonocrafting and noise manufacturing. Designed for public performances, soundtrack production and audiovisual works. http://znshn.blogspot.com User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
