Melodic Death Metal band Founded in 2021 Zion Code blends virtually everything from melodic death metal, classic thrash, metalcore, progressive metal, classic rock, and even artists outside of the genre to create a sound that's true to the sound they grew up enjoying out of the Gothenburg scene. With Brandon based in the USA and Funke based in Germany, everything is done virtually. "Festung" (German for Fortress) will soon prove to be a pivotal moment in the band's vast discography. With 6 records now under their belt and a few EPs. This record takes a more varied direction with Vanessa Funke returning as vocalist but also taking on the role of producer, guitarist on 50 percent of the album, bassist, keyboardist, and drum programming.
