about

Zero[Hz] (零[Hz]) is a Japanese visual kei band formed in Tokyo on March 20, 2018, under B.P.RECORDS, the same label that manages prominent visual kei bands such as Royz and Codomo Dragon (コドモドラゴン. The band's original lineup included four former members of the now-disbanded LONDBOY: vocalist ROY, guitarist Rio, bassist TEIKA, and drummer RYOGA. Guitarist Leo, who previously played in Dangan NO LIMIT, joined the band after being invited by TEIKA. Zero[Hz]made their live debut in April 2018 at the Cure World Visual Festival, held at Shinkiba STUDIO COAST. They debuted with a full album titled Zero Seisen (零聖戦), which released on May 2, 2018. Soon after, they embarked on their first one-man tour, "零聖戦," which began in May 2018 and concluded on June 3 at TSUTAYA O-WEST. On August 31, 2019, Zero[Hz] left B.P.RECORDS to operate independently. The band continued to release music and tour extensively, including their 4th one-man tour "アナクロニズム," which culminated at Shinjuku BLAZE on August 24, 2019. They released the single DISTURBO on March 25, 2020, which reached 4th place on the Oricon Weekly Rock Singles Chart. Despite planning a tour titled "Uncontrollable DISTURBO," the band had to cancel all dates due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, they later held a series of livestream performances in August 2020 to compensate for the canceled shows. In 2021, Zero[Hz] celebrated their third anniversary with the "SIXAXIZ" tour and released their fifth single, SURVIVE, on March 24, 2021, w

Rather than defaulting to established formulas, the group's approach suggests curiosity about what visual kei can still express—examining how aesthetics, instrumentation, and theatrical presence might intersect with contemporary sensibilities. For listeners interested in Japanese rock's ongoing evolution or in how established genres absorb new energy through regrouped talent, this band offers genuine artistic
