In the Beginning ... Zebadiah was born unto this world on the 21 July 1985 and first bestowed upon us a glimpse of the devilish mc he would become at around the age of 12. He began to experiment with vocals over drum n bass and grime beats very early in his career, though not taking his lyrical content too seriously until he joined with fellow up and coming emcees from Whitstable and the surrounding area to form a group known as the Lansdell Crew. Due to musical differences the Lansdell Crew was short lived and soon enough Zebadiah began to make an attempt at underground grime music from a solo standpoint. He began looking for recording time with whomever he could, and soon managed to record a few tracks with a friend in Chestfield. Later he met with an amateur studio from Thanet working under the name Amagama, where he was able to experiment with recording techniques and styles until he was more satisfied with the sounds he could produce. Zebadiah then recorded and released an 18 track LP entitled ‘Crown Me, I’m Godlike.’ This was limited in production and mainly distributed by hand around his local area. Soon after the release of ‘Crown Me, I’m Godlike’ the internal structure of Amagama Studios began to collapse. Due to vast disagreements between the manager of Amagama and the staff working hard behind the Zebadiah project, it was eventually decided that the two parties should part ways to create better working environments for everybody.
