New Album "æther" out now: http://zaturnvalley.bandcamp.com/album/aether Zaturn Valley, a complete DIY Seattle electronic experience. This album, entitled "æther," plunges listeners into dark and light spaces + allows the self to explore existence within the realm of personal memory. Elaborating upon the music of the past and present, this music samples and creates original sequences with a DIY ethic. It is both dark and light, contemplative and danceable. Meridian, the second Zaturn Valley album, utilized a MicroKorg and Ableton Live 8 exclusively for all tracks. It was inspired by the astronomical period of Gemini, video games (Chrono Trigger, Earthbound, NES) and cruising around Seattle at dawn / dusk. For those into alchemy, there are some songs with hidden meaning. Some tracks are highly danceable while others are more pensive and atmospheric. Meridian is perfect for a late night drive. This album is a pretty big shift from the previous release “Aurora,” so you may be in for a surprise.
