Born and raised in Adelaide, Australia, Zara’s musical journey began at a young age, perusing open mics at the age of 14, and gigging only a year later, now having completed over 200 professional gigs. She has developed her songwriting, currently studying 'Popular Music' at the Conservatorium of Adelaide, and she has released her first two singles: Happiness and When The Weekend Ends. Her new single Good Man was released on December 10th and is available on all streaming platforms. In just a brief span of three years, Zara writes and performs her originals and covers at festivals and venues such as New Found Sound Festival, Santos Tour Down Under, The Festival Theatre for Catholic Schools Music Festival (4 times in 2 years), The Festival Plaza for Garage Band, Nepenthe Wines for Winter Reds Wine Festival, Cellar Door Wine Festival, Neo AGSA, ChalkHill Wines, achieving over 250 professional gigs since the age of 15. Zara's music genre is drawn from various influences such as Olivia Rodrigo, Missy Higgins, Gracie Abrams and Sabrina Carpenter. Zara's sound is a blend of feminist attitude, with smooth pop vocals, and raw vulnerable lyrics resonating with her listeners and engaging with her fanbase.
