Zanaelle is a Francophone who grew up in the Lac St-Jean area of Quebec (Canada), a breathtaking region known for its wide open spaces and bountiful nature. She has been living in the Outaouais region for over thirty years. As far as she can remember, music has always held a central place in her life. Her piano training dates back to the early age of 7. Over the years, this inclination along with her talent and a deep passion have led her to take on various roles such as performer, accompanist and composer. Though music runs in every fiber of her being, as a young woman she followed her caring nature and chose occupational therapy as an academic pursuit. She worked in this field for twenty years, driven by her desire to help people and alleviate their suffering. In her early forties, she finally gave in to the call of the Muse and decided to devote herself exclusively to her musical vocation through composing as well as teaching piano. December 2010: Zanaelle launches her first record « Air ». « Air » offers 60 minutes of ethereal, timeless, ambient music. The album includes 11 tracks, all single-handedly composed, performed and produced by Zanaelle. « Air » can be purchased on her official website at www.zanaelle.com and in various record stores throughout Quebec and Ontario.
