Influenced by Beach Boys era psychedelia and Brazil's Os Mutantes, Yuni In Taxco's music is a swirling blend of world rhythms, surf pop and rock. Their debut EP was an instant hit with the DJ's at Seattle’s influential radio station KEXP and has also made a splash in Europe with Portuguese upstart label Cakes & Tapes, who released a limited edition cassette of the EP. Their debut full-length "Sanpaku" was released in February of 2011 with singles "What Love Will Provide", "Stiff Joints" and "Neutral Currents" receiving steady airplay on KEXP. Their album is available for free download on their bandcamp website http://yuni.bandcamp.com.
