After entering the Kunitachi College of Music, WATANABE Yuichi began studying with P. Porte, who is considered to be one of the greatest masters in French music world. He released his 1st CD in '01. It reached seventh position in the "Oricon Healing Chart" in Japan and the CD was subsequently used in more than 100 television programs including the NHK channel. He has created a lot of film music. He gives concerts frequently and in '03 gave highly successful recitals in Tokyo. His future work as a young composer is awaited with great interest.
