Youthquaker is the collaborative project of producer Illangelo (born Carlo Montagnese) and Phlo Finister. Featuring an eclectic mix of rock and electronic influences, the project is the logical sonic continuation of Illangelo's solo work and his work with The Weeknd. The name comes from Vogue writer Diana Vreeland's description of the libertinism that arose in the '60s. The project's first release, titled Projections I, was released as a BitTorrent Bundle (the first of its kind and preempting Thom Yorke by a matter of months) in August.
