YOUTH UNDER CONTROL (Y.U.C.) was a Mesa Arizona hardcore band from 1987 with values like LAST OPTION and DESECRATION. Standing strong for what they believe in, which in this case, is straight edge. Cited influences such as, "DYS, SSD, GRAY MATTER, BACK TO BACK, INSTEAD, LAST OPTION, NYC MAYHEM, and SLUGGO." Y.U.C. Released one demo in 1987, "Live and Learn." But after a falling out with Jim P, The rest of the band went on to form Wind of Change, and after they called it quits, Jim and John went on after to form Kerosene 454. Over the years members of Wind of change played in: Fuse, Hoover, Samuel, and Kerosene 454.
