Youssef Dhafer is a Tunisian musician. He sings and plays the oud (a middle eastern lute). In recent years he has lived and worked in Europe. Most recently he has worked with several of the top artists from the Norwegian Nu-Jazz scene. His recent album, Divine Shadows, was recorded with Norwegian guitarist Eivind Aarset and released on the Jazzland label.
