Formed in 2003, YOUR EYES MY DREAMS blends sing-along lyrics, throaty vocals, spoken word and thundering breakdowns with a metal sensibility. Drawing from such contemporaries as EVERGREEN TERRACE, HATEBREED, AS I LAY DYING, and even label mates LIFE IN YOUR WAY, the band has crafted what could very well be the definitive hardcore record of 2006. Weapons Are Useless opens with singer Jason Pryor leading the charge, sounding more motivational speaker than vocalist, spewing lines any angry punk would love to hear as his rhythm section orchestrates the soundtrack to what could very will be the next apocalypse.
