your dumb invention is the name of the young Indie Rock band from Krefeld/Germany. It was formed by Danny (18), Max (16) and Patrick (17) in March 2005 when the final breath of the everlasting winter was done and the spring came to Germany . Four months later Katrin joined the band and the season of depressive moments without a capable singer was left behind. New songs were written and older ones were improved. Only one month after the first gig in a little pub the band gave a concert in front of 4000 people at the greatest Newcomer Festival in Germany, which is called SchülerRock Festival in Wuppertal. In less than 6 months, your dumb invention plays nearly twenty shows in Krefeld and other different cities. The band is able to convince the audience with imaginative melodies and a very sensitive voice, mixed with absolute fun during their shows. An inofficial 6-Track EP called Now or later is already recorded but not yet for sale because the whole band is not content with it´s sound and a new one will be recorded in future. To spread there music all over the world, that´s the everlasting dream of each member of the band. To write new songs and to play as much concerts as possible, that seems to be the way to reach it someday.
