The lives of Yussef Arnasky , Isabel Borbon, Mr. Jackson( The General) and Pupa Tang intersected in a Beirut nightclub in 2004. Their shared interests in Albert Ayler, Bernard Parmegiani, the first MEV lineup, John "The Beast" Mugabi and Nelson Ned led them to drink lots of tea and form Young Nico, because the old, well...let’s not get into that. After failed gigs at Sónar 2000 (where they were attacked by a giant replica of Roddy Piper’s head) and Glastonbury (events still under investigation by local authorities), they release their music online, for all of you to despise with savage joy.
