Young Karin (previously Highlands) is a band from Reykjavík, Iceland. Formed in 2013 after Logi Pedro Stefánsson (production, part of Retro Stefson) met Karin Sveinsdóttir (vocals) at a high school song contest, they are signed to Pannonica. They won the 2015 Newcomer Album Of The Year at the Icelandic Music Awards for their debut EP, n1.
