Yianna Terzi (Γιάννα Τερζή) (born 1 December 1980) is a Greek singer and songwriter. She represented Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 with the song "Oneiro mou". In the contest, she placed 14th of 19 in Semi Final 1, failing to qualify. Emerging from a musical family of professional singers, including her father who is one of the most known platinum artists in Greece, Terzi is certainly “the one” to put under our radar. Relocating from Greece to the U.S. five years ago, and working her way into the studio with Grammy awarded and nominated notables, Terzi stirred up the vision to take her musical talent in a place where she knew she could be free and express herself musically in her own way. Yianna wanted this transition to break the restrictions she felt with the logistics of Greek music as a whole. She released her first official English single titled “Love Is Your Name” which hit iTunes and started bubbling in the underground clubs of NYC. This prompted Terzi to begin performing in the Big Apple to create her foundation in the US. Terzi is no newbie to being a star. She performed in front of thousands in Greece and holds a status there that mimics many pop stars here in the U.S. At a young age, Terzi was inspired by ground breaking artists such as Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion and Michael Jackson.
