Yekuana were formed in 1994 by Lee Harris & Karl Maddison who were based in the Sheffield area & who wanted to create progressive, electronica music with a world music influence. Lee & Karls music was influenced by their nocturnal trippy outdoor experiences & their passion for travel. Yekuana later recruited progressive house DJ Gaz White.
