Yasmin Shah is a World/Pop music Singer, Songwriter, Pianist based in Paris, France for the last ten years, she is an American of Puerto Rican & Indian background. Yasmin writes and performs in four languages, the primary being English & French. Yasmin was born in San Jose, California. Her mother is from Puerto Rico and her father is from Bombay, India. She lives in Paris where she has studied Physics, French Literature, Piano & Wine Science and has earned a degree in Oenology. She has songwriting credits on Ute Lemper's "Nuits E'tranges" and Fabienne Thibeault's "Quebecoise". She has written other material that has been covered as she is well know as a great songwriter in French Music circles. (She was nominated for the "Jeune Espoir" category in the French Music Awards 7'em VICTOIRE DE LA MUSIQUE). Yasmin has also recently been the singer and "voice over actress" in European commercials for Nestle, Orangina, Opel Vectra, Veloute, Danone, L'Oréal, Carte Noir, and more.
