Yankee Wuss is a Portland based punk band from the late 1990s playing a style of music sometimes referred to as hyper-punk. Members included Chris (ATROCIOUS MADNESS, MIDNIGHT) and Dominic (DETESTATION, ATROCIOUS MADNESS) who have been in the band since the beginning. Dyanne (HARUM-SCARUM) also played in Yankee Wuss. After many years of inactivity, Yankee Wuss has resumed playing shows around the Pacific Northwest in 2010. Ministry of Peace released the self-titled LP in 2001 (MINIPAX03). A split LP with Destestation was released in 1998 on Consensus Reality. A 7" It is a Dark Time for the Rebellion was released under Red Five Records of Austin, TX.
