There are 2 Bands known as Yamamoto: 1) Yamamoto is a beautiful duo from Tijuana who puts out the finest no-fi pop currently available in Mexico. They've been around in the borderline noise and Kleenex pop scene since the mid nineties, and it isn't until now that we can hear them in one single piece. This is Supereit's alter-ego in love. 2) Yamamoto is a 5 piece keyboard-pop band from Australia who formed in 1997. Their first EP was released in 1999 titled Racing Club & A second EP in December 2000 titled Research with the hit song Athletico which received a fair bit of air play on Tripple J.
