Yalda Abbasi is a Persian-Kurdish singer and dutar player from Iran's North Khorasan Province who aims to revive and share traditional Kurmanji (Kurdish) culture. Abbasi started playing the two-stringed dotar at age four under her mother's guidance, and later formed the band Koma Kovat with her. She's collaborated with various art groups in Quchan and earned recognition as a dutar soloist at festivals.
