Yago Santos was born in Bilbao in 1985, he began to study piano, harmony and musical language at the Bilbao Choral Society at the age of five at the hands of his piano-fond mother. This was his first teacher and influence in the world of music. Self-taught with the guitar, Yago gained a scholarship from the AIE and the Provincial Council of Vizcaya to study flamenco guitar specialization at the Cristina Heeren Foundation in Seville and the Barcelona Taller de Musics. During this period, he was a student of teachers such as Pedro Sierra, Eduardo Rebollar, Niño de Pura, Juan Gómez “Chicuelo” or Paco Cortés, among others.
