In 2003, Amadeus (aka Vorg) decides to leave his band "Virgine Dramatica", and begin a new solo project: Xianotic. After composing only a few themes, he leaves his hometown to settle in Santiago. Shortly after, Nicholas (guitars) was included in the project, and launched the new single A New-man, a tribute song to the sound of the master Gary Numan. By now, Xianotic is working on his debut album, now with the new members (Patricio on keyboards and Leo on guitars) the band is giving away some pre-releases of new songs by last.fm. Influenced majorly by The Cure, Gary Numan, Autumn and another goth and darkwave bands, Xianotic includes in its sound some shoegaze and pop influences, and now with Patricio and Leo, the sound improvement is,keeping the line, adding some new elements, like more powerful rythm guitars and better synths and samples. Patricio and Leo are too from the north of Chile, and their influences are many, from grunge bands to gothmetal and dark folk bands. Note from Amadeus: The beginning of "For my Angel" it's a backward sample of Maria Callas. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
