XECSNOIN (pronounced: zeksnoin) is a Japanese metal band that started out as a visual band, though for a number of years the group has distanced itself from that scene. Although many underground Japanese groups, both visual and non-visual, struggle with this kind of transition, XecsNon seemed to thrive with this new version of the group, and were arguably never as popular as they were at this point. In October of 2014, after sixteen years together, the group finally released their first full length album "Corridor to the Frozen Sky", which became one of XecsNoin's strongest-selling releases, and was distributed worldwide. Despite being at the top of the underground Japanese metal scene, XecsNoin made a shocking announcement that after over seventeen years together, the group was disbanding. XecsNoin played their final show in April of 2016 and disbanded afterwards. None of the members of XecsNoin are currently in any group, and are assumed to have retired from the underground Japanese metal scene. Despite various member changes, which brought the band to the brink of disbandmen
