XTR Human is a music project from Stuttgart, Germany that was founded in 2012. It currently consists of the musicians John Stabel (vocals & guitar), Valerio Kuhl (keyboard) and Mathias Völkel (bass). They describe their music style as post-punk and cold wave. Dystopic ethereal guitar sounds with lofty synth harmonies, powerful bass lines and piercing vocals: XTR HUMAN capture the esprit of postpunk with overtones of coldwave. Hypnotical and heroical the threesome celebrate nihilistic individualism. They float somewhere between post democratic displeasure and creative self-estrangement. The first single dysfunction (release 05/09/2013) reveals their passion and tendency for complexity and reduction. Right now they are working on the EP atavism that is due to release later that year.
