Wundah (real name Derrick Cyrus) is London Based Producer/Songwriter/Artist best known as the producer behind the Transition Riddim and the Runaway hit "Kisses" by Lea-Anna. Born and bred in Trinidad & Tobago he migrated to the UK in 2000 where he started looking at music as more than a hobby. Initially a Rapper Wundah started dabbling in production in 2005 when he found that the producers he was working with could not deliver the sound he required to convey his lyrical content. Upon realizing he had a natural knack for production he slowly started to move away from performing and began to teach himself production skills whilst building his own facility (now known as Blessed Youth Studios). After honing his skills for a couple years he started producing and in some instances writing tracks for the likes of General Levy (Vibration) and J-Rock & Randy (Formerly of Big Brovaz) as well as lesser known unsigned acts (Cartz, Honeyshot, Ill Twinz Franchise). Wundah also drew upon his varying musical influences from his upbringing in Trinidad and became apt at producing many different genres ranging from hip hop and pop to alternative and dance music. It was during this period that he found his true voice and began Dj-ing Jamaican style on choruses of hip hop tracks. In 2009 Wundah started building his own imprint (Blessed Youth Entertainment) along with his two business partners who then started bringing in new talent a lot of whom were dancehall artists.
