The three Samurais were born in Pittsburgh, PA in a neighborhood called Hazelwood, thought that isn't what the WoLords call it. Being influenced by the Wu-Tang Clan and seeing how they called Staten Island Shaolin, the WuLords believe they should do the same for their homeland and come up with their own name. Reading the teachings of Sun Tzu and the Art of War brought influence to the WuLords way of battle, and everyday life. They believed that Wu, the native land of Sun Tzu, was the perfect name. Wu was considered one of the smaller states compared to their neighboring state of Chu. The WuLords call their residence the land of Wu because Hazelwood is a nearly microscopic location compared to the rest of the world and the world is considered the WuLords Chu. The WuLords want to invade the world's radios, TV's, and stages with their style of music. The war is Mainstream vs. Real Hip-Hop, and the war is starting from their small native land of Wu. That is also one of the reasons why the Lords chose the name WuLords; because they are the Lords of the Wu. This name and game plan was premeditated way before the project was released. However, out of respect, the WuLords didn't reveal their name until they met the Wu-Tang Clan and got the green light. Like how Muslims go to Africa to pay a pilgrimage to Mecca and got their true African name. The Lords paid their pilgrimage by meeting Wu-Tang.
