Wrong Reasons are an American country / blues / roots rock band based in Providence, RI, United States. The band is centered around the songwriting of guitarist Joseph Fletcher, formerly of The Worried and The Deterrents. He and drummer Mike Cyr are frequently joined by a number of talented musicians and have been producing some of Northeast's rowdiest roots rock since 2021. The group's debut album, Bury Your Problems, came out in 2007. Please note that the first album was formally credited to Wrong Reasons (and is still listed on Spotify as such), whereas their sophomore album, White Lighter (2010), was formally credited to Joe Fletcher & The Wrong Reasons (and is still listed on Spotify as such). The Wrong Reasons, however, is a different band (from The Netherlands), although their Wilco-inspired music is roots rock, too.
