WREX is the alt rock duo Mae Seaton and George Donoghue from Brighton, UK. Formed in early 2020 out of a mutual love for music ad positivity, WREX announced themselves in May, 2021, and have since released 4 singles that have already held airtime on the likes of Kerrang! Radio, Planet Rock,BBC Sussex, & Surrey and KISS FM. ‘Sleepless’ was written about feeling that we’re sometimes unwelcome in our own skin and that we should be or feel a certain way. Feeling overwhelmed by society’s paradigms, but recognizing that these pressures can often be tricks of the mind, “the poison piece of my mind”. ‘Sleepless’ is a song born of identity confusion and frustration; no one should feel bound by the ideals of others.
