Wounds Never Lie is a metalcore band, founded in late 2007 in Even Yehuda and Pardesiya, Israel. The band was founded by vocalist Mathias Weiss Shema and guitarist Dvir Shema, who were later joined by bassist Nadav Elberg and a drummer by the name of Shachar. The line-up was quickly changed, with the band adding Ido - a second guitarist. After a year in the band, Ido left and was replaced with Shahaf Ram on second guitar. Half a year later, Tamir Kahalany was added as the band's new drummer. The band started demoing songs for an EP in 2010, with the first demo single "It's Hard to Dance in the Murder Scene" being released in summer 2010, and began recording in 2011. The band's debut EP "Me, an Open Field and a Hurricane" was released on October 22, 2011.
