At least two bands by the name Wound Up. 1. Hardcore band from spokane. 2. Wound Up is a Chicago hardcore/punk band existing in the mid 2000's. The band's existence was very short lived. Wound Up played raw uncompromising mid-temp 80's style hardcore. Featuring members of PUNCH IN THE FACE and UNIT PRIDE. They released a 3 song 7" on the awesome Painkiller Records label in 2005. "Chicago powerhouse Wound Up and it makes want to beat my teenage neighbors down with a baseball bat. I mean, these guys are PISSED." They would go on to record another 7 songs to be released as a 12" on Manic Ride/Dead Alive. Both the label and the band folded before the record was released.
