THIS BAND IS NOW KNOWN AS "ME IN THE MAKING". Words As Weapons are from Cedarville (Dayton), OH. The band's current lineup as of April 2007 is Tyler Smyth (vocals), Jake Morter (guitar), Josh Gillispie (guitar), Billy Adams (bass), and David Nester (drums). After several lineup changes throughout 2006 and early 2007, the band adopted a new sound and claimed to be "the new Words As Weapons". The most obvious change in their new sound is the loss of screaming (ex-vocalist Colin Jones disappeared off the band's myspace member listing in early 2007). A full-length album is currently in the works, to follow up their 2005 EP "I Can Kill You Over The Phone". Words As Weapons played their first show on Semptember 19th, 2005 at Gathering Grounds in Kettering, OH.
