Wolix, a band hailing from Lede (Belgium) was founded in 2010. They create original songs as well as witty covers, always in Dutch. They released their first EP "Alles Is Krom" in 2012 followed by a string of local concerts. In 2013 they were asked to create an original soundtrack for the short film "Traffic Jam" which is directed by Piet Sonck and starring Koen De Graeve and Lien Van De Kelder. This resulted in the song "Fileleed", featuring guest singer Emely Buyck. Their new album "Tijdzone" is scheduled for release on the 12th of december 2015. The first single on the album, Mensenvriend, was released on november 20th 2015 and is an ode to the famous Belgian singer Luc De Vos, who passed away in november of 2014.
