Wolfenschnitzeltron is Philadelphia's oldest and most prominent "new rave" band. The band is known for their bizarre, yet erotic on-stage appearance and delightfully witty if poorly realized songs including recent hits "Ronald Raygun," "Going to the Zoo," "Kindergarten Kocaine" and "The Boy Who Cried Wolfenschnitzeltron." While the band's biggest following is at Haverford College, they have performed elsewhere including Bryn Mawr College, Vassar College, numerous basements in Philadephia, and the Sedgely Avenue Artisan House. Wolfenschnitzeltron's music is characterized by its iterated instrument parallelism, overlaid with melodic vocals and thunderous digital percussion. Their music has been described as "euphony on par with the compositions of John Cage." User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
