The immortal tale of those loveable skanks, Wobbly Bob begins, as all good stories do, in a pub in Huddersfield. In 2006, after a night of Früli and Jager, three friends decided to form a band. But not just any band. Wobbly Bob would turn out to be a real Heineken moment for West Yorkshire. The fact that all the members met at University meant that they had come from all over the country - different experiences, different bands. This would bring a refreshing new sound to the current UK Ska Punk scene: Jay Walshe (our long haired cliché of a drummer) started life in a Hair-metal band, called the Spandex Bandits. Pete Dawes (the twat with the lip peircing and dreads who sings and plays guitar solos when he's not supposed to), played in several Ska bands, before arriving in Huddersfield. Dana Amos , the other vocalist, was previously in a grunge band and has, untill recently, been working on solo projects such as singing at the Pontefract music festival and the Queen's Jubilee Festival in Osset. Other activities include appearing in dramas such as A Touch of Frost, Shameless and The Royal, to name but a few. She also like poetry and long walks in the park. Alex Simpson , the bassist, has been in many bands including The Johnny Saville Mystery Project and Stinkfoot, and is an accomplished 'Cellist, Bassist and Opera Singer. The horn section ( Brian Dickson on Alto/Tenor Sax, James Harvey on Tenor Trombone and the delectable Lucy Elmer on Trumpet), have clocked up
