With Closed Eyes is a Metal band with many influences, including: Unearth, Born Of Osiris, Between The Buried And Me, Opeth, The faceless & many more. Formed in Minnesota, USA in 2008. With Jared Hoefs on vocals, Tyler Eide & Jeff Engler on guitars, Dylan Peterson on bass, and Jacob Cox on drums until march of 2010 when he left the band and was replaced by Tukkur VanVark. After Jared joined in september of '09, they started recording Scorch Me Clean at Signaturetone Recording in Minneapolis, MN with the help of Adam Tucker who produced, engineered, mixed & mastered SMC. The Band has this to say about their experience recording with Adam: We recorded "SCORCH ME CLEAN" at Signaturetone Recording in Minneapolis, with the help of Adam Tucker. Adam Tucker has worked with bands like The Crinn(Nuclear Blast) Ambassador Gun(Relapse) and We Are Legion(Zero Budget). If you are looking for quality recordings in Minnesota we HIGHLY recommend contacting Signaturetone.Via the Bands Myspace Scorch Me Clean was released on the 20th of february, 2010, and has already gained a fine following, considering the small town, and the local distribution of the EP it's self, only at the shows them self, although there is talk of some kind of CD mailing system, no final word though. As of middle of March the band replaced Jacob with Tukkur as Drummer. With the new Drummer they began writing new songs & rewriting a few of the older songs off of Scorch Me Clean.
