German black metal band. Released a demo in 1997 titled "Death, Darkness & Destruction", and full length album in 1999 titled "Soldiers of Hell" via the II Moons label. They released 1 more demo in 2003 titled "Incineration & Resurrection" before putting the band to rest. Previously known as Cygnet of Darkness. The band announced that Witchbane has been merged with Noverca and that the new band will no longer use the name Witchbane.
