Witch of the Vale are Erin and Ryan, an unsettling electronic duo from the serene shores of Loch Lomond and the remote Outer Hebridean Isles. The pair cite influences such as Cranes, Dead Can Dance, Fever Ray, and Skinny Puppy. The delicate, haunting vocals are starkly contrasted by deep, droning synths and abrasive drums. With Erin's sincere, melancholic lyrics, the overall sound teeters between ethereal and devastating. Witch of the Vale are a new act but are growing quickly. They currently play live regularly in the Scottish scene, and have also made several appearances in London's iconic venue Electrowerkz. The duo are rapidly building up momentum and their full length album with physical releases is due early to mid 2020.
